This has probably been posted; I just didn't see it.

In the different videos I've watched, the comments have all mentioned to the effect that "so glad it's a biological woman."

Congratulations, 1st Lt. Madison Marsh, United States Air Force!

Terrific............ wonder who is going to pick up the slack for the celebrity?
That's pretty much SNAFU, from what I've seen and heard. And I heard it a lot, especially from guys I've told "we didn't have many women serving when I was in. You seldom saw them, and they never deployed on ships."

They did deploy to combat zones, and I have massive respect for those women who deployed during WWII, Korea, and Vietnam.

Those deployed nurses were a horse of a different color they deserve all they could have got. Angels of mercy.

When I had a bout with what the counselor called a Delayed Stress Reaction in early 2012, one of my co-workers at Lowe's was a retired Army nurse who had been in country during Vietnam. To this day I think and believe Laverne saved my sanity. She saw something was off, got me to a quiet corner and grilled me in that intense, yet gentle manner she had.

I had to shoot a man when I was on a security detail Stateside when I was in the USAFR. We were pulling perimeter security for a highly classified test on Eglin AFB, FL in August 1985 for our annual training and were authorized deadly force. Things went south, badly.

I've known a couple of nurses who were in Vietnam; one was a counselor at the Vet Center in North County San Diego. She was black, and from Georgia. She was the first person I ever heard the expression: "Georgia - it's a good place to be from." Woman had a wicked sense of humor.

The other was a real-life China Beach-ite. Never got to know her real well. Met her through a roommate who had been a Corpsman in Vietnam. Greg spent his whole tour in the morgue. I've known several combat vets who had seen heavy combat, and to a man, they said they wouldn't trade places with him for all the money in the world.

I think she's working on a master's degree, so that, for right now, is her full-time job.
She's now a full time representative for Miss America Pageant Inc.
We spend millions to recruit and train people only to allow them to play professional sports, send them to get abortions and sex changes.
The later two making them unfit to serve, except in our new DEI DOD.
25 years ago if you broke your foot playing basketball you were labeled unfit to serve and you were punished for it, not profited.

I broke my leg circa 1976, I lied told them I fell down the steps. In reality drunk on my ass at Fells Point on top of a icy car. Duh
They put down line of duty but I did get punishment, playing squadron supply puke which I hated. Never was cut out to be a titless wave. Once I got my walking cast I wanted to go out and fly and work on airplanes again. Nope, had to suffer...... THEN I was volunteered to be on Jimma Carters inauguration committee driving Jr bureaucrats all over DC for 6 weeks. This was sorta ok, I was stoned and met a lot of waves, wacs and wafs. :D
