Here we go again... Need foster homes for Mastiffs

Help "Invisible Dogs"
Nina - is a 1 yr old female Cane Corso - Boyfriend abandoned dog w/girlfriend, GF couldn't take care of her, she ran the neighborhood way too often, so GF surrendered her to the shelter. She was an inside dog and has lived with kids.

I met her, she is sweet but shy, she wasn't crazy about having her feet touched, but it appeared she has an infection on one front toe and the back foot looks like a broken nail, they are supposed to be checking this out for me.


Stray Mastiff mix 7 month old male - doesn't exhibit any agression to other dogs or people. Applications have fallen through, needs rescue...

~If you can foster one of these dogs, please contact mary@secondhoperescue.org for all that entails or if you want to adopt, please contact Mary for an application~

To be a foster home, we still have to have references and an application so we can make sure the foster home is suitable for the type of dog. To adopt we require an application, references and a home visit.

Mastiffs make awesome companions and when they are this young they are so ready to learn all you can teach them!

The little one who is fawn colored has the most beautiful face in person!

Yea Right
I want a dog SO bad, I have never had one...we only had 1 cat growing up. problem is I live in a med size APT. what kind should i get??? I am not so into the little ankle bitters, just dont know anything about dogs...any help would be AWESOME

A dachshund would be a fun laid back dog to get. You should go check out the local shelters and see if they have anything that would be a good fit. Also look on petfinder.com. You can select small breed dogs and a bunch will come up in your search. Good luck!

an older dog thats healthy, house broken, good around people/kids, that needs rescue is good choice

older dogs can still be trained and dont have that extra spunk that younger dogs/puppies do. you might even get lucky and find one that has been trained well.

Two of my good friends each have two..in each set one is awful and the other is nice. But when they're young they can be a handful.

Ok I have this little dude for foster! I'll start a new thread with him and the other we have to foster!

He is UTD on all his shots but has not been neutered yet. Look for a new thread from me with both my foster pups, from Second Hope rescue, that will have all info and pictures! :yay:
