Those plates are going to be a real PIA. Around 5pm, the plate on southbound lane on St. Mary's side sounded like it was going to bounce off.

you would think that all these accidents would be a hint that something needs to be done
Yeah, almost had one yesterday. I slowed up before I hit those plates and the idiot behind me didn't. Almost had his truck in my back seat.

yes drove accross is twice today...both times...horrible visability...and as im going towards the plates and slowing down...the people behind me ride all up on the back of my car to where i cant even see their head lights...even with the CAUTION SLOW DOWN signs. IDIOTS

Well maybe if you people wouldn't slow to a crawl to ride over the plates there wouldn't be any accidents or back ups - I mean come on people - do you know how many of those plates are on the beltway - and nobody slows for them - You people are treating them like spped bumps.

yeah, its idiots like you who ride to close that are causing the accidents...i dont think 40 mph is to much to ask when it is dark out and 20 + mph winds on the bridge. Plus 45 is the speed limit...not a must!
