Glad he called it potentially temporary and he made some excellent points on how it will look to the fans. Scary thing is, will the teams altering the cars to go 1000 feet vice 1320 end up going faster in a shorter distance thereby absorbing that 320 ft in MPH? Not too sure if its possible but who would have thought we would be smashing 300mph on a regular basis?

They had to do something.

I'll tell you what, I DO NOT like this Seattle track they're racing at. Talked to some people up there - that track is Scott Kalitta II waiting for the best time to happen. No sand pit, it's just about 5/8 mile shutdown then up into 13° banking (end of dragstrip is a road course corner) which will launch the car up and over into the Motocross track and then into the trees.

Tony Pedregon is going to be a lot of fun to listen to when they get there. :coffee:
