I hope Marylanders read that story ^^ I was going to link to the original on BSun but it's behind a paywall.
On another note, remember when news outlets were paid for with advertising and the stories were the draw for eyeballs? It was like TV: you don't pay for individual channels, you pay for cable that lets you access all of them. Now we're bombarded with media and each one wants you to buy a subscription, but so far I haven't found a single one that's informative and reliable enough for it to be my go-to.

Its mind numbing to think how there is such a YUGE deficit in this state with all the taxes imposed. High gas taxes, bridge and road fees, property taxes, state income taxes, etc. All through the roof yet... Deficit. WTAF are they spending it on?

My brother was bemoaning that Allegany Co. may have to close all the public libraries because of budget shortfalls. The county can't tax residents enough, and it looks like State money to counties is drying up. All Trump's fault.
Government is nothing if not a jobs program.
The education bill is breaking the bank.
