So Baby A got to come home yesterday at exactly 12 weeks of life. It was a great moment - and the farewell from the hospital was pretty amazing - it seemed every dr., nurse, PA, NP in the unit came to bid us well. He did great on the way home - even when I got a flat on Rt 5 and then there's the kudos to the man who stopped & changed it for me, and wouldn't even take any money!!

Last night was rough. . . . poor guy was so used to the NICU that he barely slept a wink! I tried to keep things warm & dark for him, but I just couldn't replicate the smells & sounds. The adjustment is tougher than I thought it would be - but we're managing, I'm so happy to have him home!!!!

Congratulations! I haven't commented much on your threads concerning your babies cause I didn't want to "jinx" them. I am so happy they are home with you and dad and sibling. And I can relate more then you know.

But I have one question........... When do they cease to be baby "A" and baby "B"?????????? Once my boys were born 22 years ago they had "names"......

Good luck to you and yours.... :yahoo::flowers::huggy:
Enjoy.......
I'm here for you also.

Congrats, what great news! :huggy:

Now you have your whole family together after 3 very long months. Your daughter must be so excited to finally have both her little brothers home. Let me know if you need anything. Hope all is well.

That's wonderful news!! How did the babies do with the reunion?

They've done well - the first time they were together they were being held and they reached out and touched each others' fingers - it was so cute! Of course, since I was holding them I couldn't get my camera!! They seem to know each others' cry, too - when one cries, the other will resond by looking for them, then usually crying too! LOL

I put them together a lot - right now they're laying together on their activity mat - mostly they could care less, but it's funny to watch them laying the same way (binky in, hands up, fingers relaxed).

Funny! I guess anyone who read my posts and reads either the Independent, Enterprise or Washington Post would've been able to see that only one set of twins was born on Thanksgiving Day and guess my identity. . . Baby A is Carson and Baby B is Aiden.

Hubby named Carson, I named Aiden and my daughter picked the birth order.
