The Social Security Administration, on7/12/24, announced a NEW and IMPROVED mandate for you IF you want to access your "MY SSA" account. You need to re-register and get a secret squirrel* NATIONAL IDENTIFICATION CODE. Its for your own good and protection from scandalous foreign entities I rekon.

Good idea or bad? Trust the Govt. or not?? YES, I AM FULLY AWARE THERE IS NO PRIVACY NOW AND MY INFO IS ALREADY OUT THERE NOW....

(*) a cartoon show on TV in the 1960's...

Login.gov as been around for years. New My SSA had been required to use it, now even the older accounts must switch over. One login across the board. Verified by a code texted to you.
