Hey all you dog losing people...

I know sometimes I come off as a hardass, or cold, when it comes to my attitude about all the lost dogs... it's only because I care about the animals, and 90% of the time, the 'escape' is usually preventable.

So here's my offer... if anyone is having issues keeping their dog contained, or thinks they may have an issue in the future, or is looking for ways to keep it from happening to them, PM me. I'd be happy to come out and look over your property / situation and offer budget concious solutions to a potential disaster... Maybe even a verbal smackdown if you're just being a goof, so be ready for that...

Serious offer. No I'm not looking for $$, LOL. Donate something to your favorite rescue or charity instead.... :lmao: And if you need work done to prevent a digger or climber, you'll have to make the fix yourself orr hire someone... I'll only explain solutions you may not have considered, I'm not a handyman...

Staring next week I'm going back into training professionally, so it's good exposure for me anyway. Take me up on it, you got nothing to loose... except maybe your dog....

:yay:

Come talk to my neighbors. Their little wuppo gets loose at least once a week. He typically comes running over here to sit on my patio and look in the window. "Hi! *wag wag* Where's kitties? *wag wag*"

Tell them to call me. I'll send you a business card and pamphlet to leave in their door, :lmao:

Heck! I'd consider your service money better spent than the other thread where CDS is hoping parents would shell out big bucks so she could provide theme specific paper plates and napkins for some kid's birthday party...:lmao:

Train my doggy to not grab the kitty by the neck. And then train kitty to not sit there and like it. And then train doggy not to be so damn excited when people come over and bite them instead.:coffee:

I'll be taking you up on this offer for sure this spring !! My husband and I are looking at fencing options for our 2 boxers (Molly is still so young at 12 weeks)...we have a few acres and are down a 1/2 mile private drive, but have TONS of acerage behind our property for doggies to run and get lost... I don't feel it's fair to try and keep them on any sort of long line or leash..too much of an energetic breed that deserves the room to run..and we have it..soo.. now we need the best way of containing them... and worry about all the wildlife (deer, turkey, etc) that they may chase OUT of the yard???

Good thing you have a reputation here or people might think you are scoping their place out.

If threads are any true indicator, you could build your whole business out of teaching people better containment.

I'm still interested in some training for Marci and me. When you go back at it full time, I'm in for at least a few sessions.

the only effin 2 problems I have had in the last 8 years of owning my house, was the damn oil delivery person. (knock on wood now) A couple years ago they left the gate open but no one escaped, we fortunately saw it first.

Then 2 months ago they did it again. Hubby came home from work and let the dogs out, 2 of them stayed in the yard but 3 went out across the road to the neighbors. Rojo came back to sit on the front step to get back in, Bump went chasing the neighbors cat and sat on their front porch, and Havoc didn't kown what to do and ran back to Hubby when called.

Hubby called and cussed out the oil company and the receptionist said they had a dog order on our file. It's not like they wouldn't hear 5 dogs barking while they were filing up the tank. Heck, we have the UPS, FEDEX, and Local USPS leave dog buiscuts on the porch when they deliver.

Now I will probably have an inadvertant fence break and have to eat my words...
