From what I understand he's making bank on this story, and the Goldmans and her parents aren't getting a cent, AND since he wasn't convicted of killing anyone, he can make all the money he wants off of the crime.

I hope nobody here buys the book and puts money into this mans pockets.

Actually since he was tried and acquitted, he could just admit to it now and could not be tried again correct?

I thinks that's true.. but I would hope someone would think of a loophole to go after him for something else.. like Ron and her were both white, so go after him for a hate crime..

No he can't be tried for murder again, it's called double jeopardy. There was a famous case in my home state of Kentucky where a man named Mel Ignatow was found innocent of his girlfriend's murder, it wasn't until after the trial that pictures proving his guilt were found in an old apartment of his. Last I heard, he served some time for perjury and is now as free as OJ.

Shouldn't your answer be in the form of a question??

Its the "You cant be tried for the same thing twice." As soon as he walked out of that courtroom howevermany years ago that was, he could have taken a camera and showed a step-by-step account out of what ACTUALLY did happen and the most he could go away for was perjury....which is next to nothing. I believe tha all the civil cases and all that stuff has been finished up as well....which is why he probably has waited to do this for so long.

And you KNOW he is going to sell a ton of books. Everybody knows he did it...and now they want to see how he did do it.

I think anyone that wants to read the story should steal the book, that way he doesn't make any money off of it.

Isn't that the key, you can't be tried for the SAME thing twice? Couldn't they charge him under something else like manslaughter, something?

You know what makes me sad? Remembering all the people that celebrated when his "innocent" verdict was announced. Mostly because they hated Mark Furhman (sp?), and not because they really believed in his innocence. I wonder if those same people are still happy that OJ is free to do this kind of crap?

He can;t be convicted of a hate crime. I forget the exact wording of a hate crime. But this crime has to be commited against a group that is in some kind of minority.

A black male killing a white male will never be a hate crime by the definition of the law. Even if they admited that the only reason they killed them was because eof the color of their skin.

SO let me get this straight, if a white person mugs a black person it could be a hatecrime.. but it can't be if a black person mugs a white person?? Only white people can be racist or have the ability to hate?

We have some serious problems in this country..

Exactly one part of a hate crime is that it has to be comited against some form of minority.
