Wings have their own share of ergo problems. The cylinders sticking out sideways block where you can put your feet.
I found the stock pegs uncomfortable also. Seemed to make my ankle wanted to bend at an uncomfortable angle if I relaxed my leg. The Kuryaykn pegs and stirrups work very well but I'd like an alternate place for my feet to streach out while on the highway.
If I can't find anything good for highway pegs at Motovation, I'm going with a cobra engine guard and add some Kuryakyn offset mounts and pegs. Their offset mount highway pegs MIGHT fit without the bar.
You could also look at getting a new seat, Corbin or Mustang both make seats for the Spirit.

Don't know, I am just along for the ride. I leave in a few minutes to take the riding test. Hope I pass or I may have to ride on the back of yours and be your biyatch again.
