Animal shelters usually have cats and dogs for you to adopt.
But the one in Prince William County has a more unusual animal in need of a home - one you probably don't want to keep inside.
It's an 800-pound pig.
Police found the creature one night late last month, standing in the middle of Route-15. Animal control brought it to the pound, where officials say the pig is well-behaved and apparently enjoying meals of grain and a bed of hay.
So far, no one's come forward to claim the pig.
