A TikTok video featuring Amiri Bradley, a Black influencer known as @opbamiri, has gone viral as he accuses a bar in Portland, Oregon, of using the same font as the rap group N.W.A. He argues that the bar’s use of the N.W.A. font, despite being owned by white individuals and attracting mostly white customers, amounts to cultural appropriation.

I feel the need to further explain and as you put it, "translate".
Fair enough.
You see in my former careers, I had to be "culturally aware" of the communities I worked in. Without formal training in the mid 1970's, we had to erase our traditional critical thinking and focus on de-escalation in stressful, unserved communities. In those communities, education was NOT paramount. Therefore, often, a guttural "grunt" sufficed. Much akin to Jane Goodall, we had to "walk the walk and talk the talk".

I slipped momentarily into my GSL. (ghetto as a second language)

The primary post was scoffing at the TikTock fellow having issue with a business using a font similar to an ICONIC entertainer. Ludacris as that is was, also, I was merely explaining that the TTer, saw a small child counting on his small fingers, (for example saying he is two years old, "this many") had a striking resemblance to a fellow ghetto ICON, , one WEST SIDE DUCE. (aka: DEUCE).

The comparison is clearly evident.

I hope that clears any miscommunication.
