No greeting cards for me. That market is too competitive with all the digital stock image companies where the photog make 25 cents per download.

1. dupe layer
2.gaussian blur
3.layer opacity between 25 and 50 percent(depending on the picture)
4.brightness and contrast, lower brightness, raise contrast
5.image adjust color balance, pick a color to play up like dark green, or teal
6.dodge and burn on bottom layer

A few steps and wham...fantastical!

The second image came out perfect! I'm going to try this this weekend, I know just the images to use. I'll let you know how they come out...might do a large print to see what it looks like on paper:)

The stock image market is crazy...you have to have huge image banks or shoot every day and keep them rotated...I just kept hounding all the companies I found, publishers...everyone...I think eventually they took me in to shut me up...pity prints:)
