A dishwasher is VITAL!! :roflmao:

Shew! Liberals, man.....

Heating, AC, plumbing - leaking roof. Broken pipes and flooding.
SOME things are kind of important. Not all of us can take a dump in the woods when the toilet is broken.

It's only when I see stuff like this that I'm reminded some states are still having a covid pandemic. Life is normal in PCB. Like completely normal. No masks. No people flipping out. No social distancing. No occupancy restrictions. No taking temperatures before you can enter a restaurant. In Florida it's over.

This woman would sh*t herself if she came here.

I have no idea what any of that means or why it is pertinent to this thread.

I'm surprised at how much of it IS over, here. Even the veterinarian doesn't require a mask - but the doctors do.

OP refers to the need to be able to service appliances and home repairs.
Granted, *BEST BUY* doesn't fix your furnace, but the idea is the same.

The plumbers coming today are all wearing masks, according to their company policy.

Gotcha. Sorry, didn't read the link, just the comment. My bad.

:yay:

But doesn't it strike you how helpless these people are? No wonder they need nanny government - they literally can't do anything for themselves. Not even hand wash a dish.

Which is weird because until we got our current dishwasher - we were always stuck with these eco-friendly crap that couldn't wash a dish unless you seriously HAND WASHED IT FIRST. I'd mention to my wife - you realize that a little more washing and a drying rack - and the dishwasher is pointless? Why do we have it then? Sterilization? Some low grade autoclave?

I hated the eco ones. They took damned near all day and they didn't clean it.

Yep.

I haven't had a dishwasher in 6 years, unless you count my own two hands. We have a space for it but decided we'd rather have the storage room.

With three kids - especially during summer - we have a full load every day, sometimes more. We've done without at times, but it's really no fun.

Especially when YOU'RE the dishwasher (raising hand).
