DFC Eric S. Walker, Deputy Jay Kirkner and Cpl. Jeffrey L. McLane responded to a reported theft in progress at the 7-11 store Rt. 5 Charlotte Hall. The store clerk advised that a white male had entered the store and stole several packs of cookies and ice cream and fled the area. A search of the surrounding area was conducted. The suspect was located at the Charlotte Hall Motel. He was arrested after being identified by the store clerk. The suspect Lee Issac Mansfield, 20 yoa from Nanjemoy was charged with Theft under $100.00 and incarcerated pending a bond hearing.
