Anyone know anything about these townhomes. I will be moving in September from FL. From what I can tell online, the look nice, but you cant tell thru pictures, ya know. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thanks

Where are my pants?
My husband and I lived in one of the rental townhomes for about a year back in 04. Overall, the experience wasn't bad.

It was cheap, the structures are older and many of the appliances and fixtures were rather dated, but as I said, it was cheap. We had the 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath model. Rooms were on the small side, and there's not much storage. The area is okay and generally convenient to local amenities and PAX--except that goddamn left turn onto Chancellor's Run road (there must be 5 accidents there every day). The rental office was always friendly to deal with, and they were very prompt about sending maintenance personnel over when we had issues with the old appliances. One of the big perks for us was that they allow small pets (for a fee, of course). Only a few decent rental places around here do that.

The townhomes and apartments of Wildewood are much nicer, but I've heard they're harder to get into.

Good luck with the impending move.

:yeahthat:

I on the other hand had one that had an unfinished basement back in 02-03 so I had LOTS of storage, I was building my home at the time and I had moved out of a three story townhome in Baltimore and almost every thing we owned fit in the basement that we where keeping in storage. Nice community and close to every thing. But that damn left hand turn out is a pain the azz. Also, if your their for Christmas make sure to decorate because when we lived their we did and not knowing it we entered into a community contest and won 2nd place (dinner for two at a resturent). Wildewood has newer and older townhomes/appt. but plan to pay for them, your paying for the name. I know people that live in Wildewood and they say it is nice but expensive!!

Good luck on the move and welcome to good old southern Maryland.

I work there.... I'll get Pam to get with you tomorrow... I'm the bookkeeper so I've done all I know to do for now.

I know they have a pool, a clubhouse, and an exercise room because they're in the building I work in. They people in the leasing office are really nice. The must be affordable and the neighborhood must be good because the turnaround is not really big. The place allows dogs too. I'll have Pam answer more questions tomorrow.

Hey. I talked to Pam today, lol. She's super nice. They only problem is they won't have one ready by the time we would need it. I think for now we might just live on base. We will not be able to make it to the area until we actually move, which is a little stressful. Im kinda shocked how expensive everything is in that area. Oh well, tis' life. :jameo: Thank you for all your responses! I really appreciate it!!!
