High-Tech Darts May End L.A. Car Chases

LOS ANGELES -- The Los Angeles Police Department is testing a new technology that could end high-speed car chases.

Wouldn't the police still have to "chase" the suspects to get a good dart shot? :shrug:

Willie on The Fast and The Furious 2 they had those dart guns you are reffering to. Not sure if they were for real or not though.

The LA car chases always have a helicopter in on the action. I've often wondered why they don't do something helpful like harpoon the perp with a 300 lb. anchor.
