I keep reading that we (the USA) are building schools ,power plants ,sewers,and water supply in Iraq now

Sounds like we are already spending massive amounts of money rebuilding Iraq.

Now if peace comes and they can pump oil at today's prices I see no reason they cannot pay for their own rebuilding. What would be ironic is if they paid Russia,China and France to contract for the jobs.
