Picked up the DVD, watched it a few nights ago. It was predictable, funny, clever and romantic. If you like Wil Smith, you'll like this. I thought Kevin James from King of Queens (which I've never watched) did a good job with his character. Storyline: Matchmaker is great at helping other men find true love, but when it comes to snagging his own heart throb, everything that can go wrong, does.

I'll give it a "cute". I laughed out loud at points, for sure... but, predictable is definitely the appropriate adjective....

They're supposed to be predictable, the whole point is to enjoy the movie, not pick it apart. It's supposed to be fun, damnit!

My GF says I remind her of Kevin James... :twitch: Especially the dropping food on my shirt parts...

I definitely liked it, and of course it was predictable. I think comedies ought to be.

On the other hand, I hard a hard time with having the object of affection named after an over the counter drug.
