What? That is awful, and I hope she is shamed for it. If you don’t have family, you got nothin’. That relative will be sad down the road, and what that snowflake wished for. Patriots are strong. There are many notable instances of a Germany lost to a Dictator that have become existent in this our own struggle.
One of the things that destroyed Germany IMO is that the people who opposed what Hitler was dong were unarmed.
I believe that will be one of the first things that will be on the list before the real destruction of our country begins.
Disarming us.
I also believe the democrats now have the political power and that enough republicrats will help them that they will pass legislation with that effort in mind. We lost the right to a free and honest election. Our Government failed us, and our Judicial system stood by. If we lose our right to the 2nd Amendment we place the Government firmly in charge of us. For that is why that Amendment was written in the Constitution ---to protect us from the very people who now want to establish firm rule over us and make us subservient to their will. We will no longer be citizens, but subjects.

Humans don't change. We can pretend we're more civilized than our caveman ancestors, but we're not. Some humans are compassionate and decent; others are barbaric and bloodthirsty; it's always been that way and has nothing to do with religion or social norms. It's just humans.
It's also human nature to be an oblivious self-absorbed pinhead completely unaware of the world around you, which is how we end up with these rogue governments.

I've told this story before:
At my boyfriend/future husband's high school graduation the valedictorian quoted the lyrics of "Imagine". On the ride home I made the mistake of mentioning how nice I thought it was, and my husband's uncle treated me to a walk-through of the words and what they mean. The brain cells started firing and working together to form complete thoughts, and thus another conservative was born....
