I found this article while looking at the Daily Mail's article on the polar bear that vraiblonde posted. These are not real, but actresses made up to look like they have been abused as part of a campaign.

What do you all think? Wouldn't it be more effective if they put pictures of the real thing?

Plus it would make more of a statement for a real domestic abuse victim to tell their story, rather than have some actress or model make one up.

If a man beat me up (yea right) and it was the first and only time (I guarantee it wont happen twice), I would prance around and show what that azzhole mf'er did to me. Take pictures and post them on line but just be sure and put the picture of his corpse next to it.

My step mother was beat bloody by my father so I know. I lived it. He beat me too thats why it wont happen ever again. Thats what made me strong. All I have to do is remember her cowering bloody in the corner while he punched her in the face some more.
