HOLY COW, I was expecting a sweet christmas related story , something like " You'll shoot your eye out. I get so sad when I read these things. Obviously, these parents need killing! But why is the mother being held without bond while the father's bail was set at $10,000? Personally, I find them equally at fault for this baby's death and neither should be allowed to be bonded out. :angry:

What a bunch of maggots! I hope they rott and live a miserable life (that is if they live.) I hear in Prison, inmates really go "hard" on people that abuse children. I have to admit though, when I lived in Maryland I always thought "no place could be as worse (regarding crimes) then Washington D.C. and the outskirts." Boy was I wrong, I find people here in Florida are much dumber and sicker.

I just think it's really sad that some people who have children don't treat them as well as they should, while there are loving couples out there who really want to have children, but aren't able to. Like last week on the news...this woman locked her 2 daughters in a storage shed...but then again, they couldn't confirm whether they were her real kids...

I was thinking more along the lines of a mental competency test. Along with a review of their personal history for drug abuse, physical abuse, etc.

Being an adoptive parent, these types of stories just slay me..I can never get them out of my mind. Adoptive parents are put through so many hoops to assure that they're worthy of parenting - I think all prospective parents should be put through the same things. I wonder how many people would not be able to pass the psychological testing, the home study, the social worker visits, etc.

Well, now you guys know why I'm pro-abortion and wish more people would get them. I just don't think a fetus goes through the same kind of suffering that an abused infant/child goes through. Or at the very least, it's a lot quicker.
