Does anyone have a dentist in Southern Maryland area that they have used that is either holistic or at least has safety protocol to protect patients when removing an old amalgam filling?
I had a terrible experience at a dentist office in Lexington Park off 235 that removed an old amalgam (I was having no problems with it but he said I would soon-should have been a red flag). I should have done my research first but did not. After I became ill that same day with something I had never experienced before is when I did my research. I had a bad reaction to the gases and stuff that went down my throat from the old filling. Now a month later the tooth is bothering me and is very sensitive. I sure did learn a lot about how they should be removed so the patient does not swallow the old stuff or breath the fumes. Too late for me but I'd like for others to be aware and ask how they protect you! I am finally getting over the illness but want to go to a "safe" dentist for the tooth. Thanks for any help.
