Holly did well thru the night...
No signs of fleas!
She started to play some with a ball and took time for a liquid lunch.
She has a ways to go, but as we all know..kittens grow up fast!

Here she is having lunch...

She looks much older than my babies.

She is a pound, and still has her nursing mark on her lips.
Her teeth are still tiny.
I figure a month old based on weight, 5 weeks based on teeth.
Some formula will help alsong with Friskies canned kitten chow until her teeth get stronger.

How big are your kittens Catt?

Let me go weigh them...I've got a really chunky female and a tiny male and the other two females are average...

By the time the lady found them on her porch, they're about 7 weeks old.

Big kittens!

Seems that the average weight gain is a 1/4 pound per week for the first 4 months.
Most kitten books quote this, Dr. Brown swears by it and I have seen the same average.

Holly now weighs 1 pounds 1.25 ounces...she is eating very well and is asking for more!
Her gums are still pale form the heavy flea load.
When I bathed her last night, the rinse water was dark red/ brown..3 times I shampooed her/rinsed her until the water ran clear.
She is skin and bones..so by teth, I figure she is closer to 5 weeks of age.
From nape of neck to base of tail she is almost 6".
Fisty little girl!! hehehe
