I went into Food Lion thinking, what a beautiful day. I came out to darkness and rumbling. Drove through the front on the way home and was pelted for a few seconds.

WOW!! I went outside to see how incredibly violent the storm was and look for structures being damaged..could barely hear wife in the background screaming at me to not go out there. I don't recall ever seeing a storm that vicious this time of year.

And I got nuttin on my phone!! But I get the Amber alerts from 2 hours away.... Go figure...

Non-stop lightning/thunder for a while. Truck got washed.... By the time I got the truck back in the garage, the storm stopped. of course.

I'll check it for dings tomorrow.

It annoys me to no end to have to listen to the motorcycles with straight pipes, loud car exhaust, diesel douches.... can't even open a window at night.

But I was grinning from ear to ear when I heard the same loud bikes racing up the road in the middle of the lightning/hail/rain.

I also in the living room last night with the geriatric boy. I heard HVFD got out about 2am.

Lucky you. I looked at my weather bug earlier and didn't see anything about this.

But I was watching a movie, Viking Wolf, filmed in Norway. It was pretty good!

I stand corrected, even tho I saw nothing(and heard nothing), the wife informed me that it was a bad storm with thunder/lightning...Proud of my basement office that blocks out the world..

I was surprised that the wind was still blowing here. If pops did one thing right about this house, it's the insulation. Damned near sound proof.
