Anyone have any recommendations for a user friendly (easy to use) and fairly inexpensive do-it-yourself home design software?

Ideally, I’m looking for something that will allow me to create floor plans and then maybe 3-D models to use for decorating.

I bought one just today at Wal-Mart. Better Homes & Gardens Home Designer. $39.99 or thereabouts.

I haven't had time yet to play with it, but you are welcome to use it if you want. I bought it to try to plan a home addition.

Have you tried this one? I found it a little while ago while doing a search and thought for $3 a month it wouldn't be too much of an investment even if the site did suck.

I downloaded Home Plan Pro at home. It's pretty useful, not difficult to use, and cheap.
