Home Network Wizard

Why does this always seem so easy and I keep getting a step closer but never quite there? Here is the situation:

2 computers, 1 router, 1 modem
Trying to share the printer
Run the home network setup
create a disk (flashdrive) and run the setup on the other computer
Ensure that the network name is the same.

Finally, I can 'see' the network on the other computer when I chose "View Network Computers" but can't access anything. On the primary computer I can't see the network at all.

Thanks for helping figure out an age old issue...

If you're using Vista I went to Microsoft.com and it had instructions on how to do it. It is a lot more complicated using Vista premium. I knew how to do it and it was a cinch on XP! I hate Vista!

I'm not using Vista and I can't seem to get mine to work....I even had K, who is a "self-proclaimed guru of computers", down here and he couldn't even figure out why my computer wasn't picking up the printer
