Home Window Repair Company?

Morning, All-
I'm looking for recommendations for a window repair company in the St. Mary's area. Over that past week or so, I've discovered that several of my windows have condensation build up on the inside glass. They're double pane windows so I assume they need the seals replaced?

Anyway, if anyone can provide info on any of the local companies, I'd appreciate it. Many thanks!

I saw that and found they were recommended in another thread but I got the impression they only did replacement windows, rather than window repair. Not true?

Not sure, worth the call. I am not sure you can "repair" double pane windows. You might have to replace the sash.

From what I have been told they will pop out the glass and put in new. Still around $200+ a window.

I used A & M Glass Company, LLC. - Home after the hurricane.

We had a double paned window that had one of the panes broken. Took it into A & M glass at Great Mills Road and Rt. 5 and they replaced the broken glass for around $100-$125.00 and the turn around wasn't bad at all.

Depending on how old it is and what brand you have it could be covered under the seal warranty. The average warranty is 20 years.

The windows were replaced by the previous owners about 10+yrs ago but have no idea who did them. I was hoping it would be as simple as replacing the seals and heard it shouldn't be too expensive to do.

Just seeing if people have any experiences with any of the local companies. I guess I'll just call a few and see what they say.

Gragan & Son in La Plata just replace the glass in my double pane window for $210. I really appreciated that they gave me an ball-park estimate on the phone after I emailed them a picture and the size. Then I scheduled the official estimate and ordered the glass. Turn around time was good. The on the phone estimate was just $10 different from the actual cost.

How bad is the build-up? Seen windows with moisture trapped between the panes, maybe just deal with it until you have to replace the windows unless they aren't that old.

Open the window and look inside the track it slides on. There will be product information.
