Did not see all of Nationwide race , However I would hope Joey would be more concern with a decent finish ( 7Th or 9Th I think) and come away from that race on how to have a good finish in the Cup race and not worry about falling out of top 35 !

I believe you may be right! I think JGR really wanted him to stay in Nationwide another year . however Smoke leaving forced them to make a change. Why they did not sign another driver for a year ?????? Joey did WIN at Nashville and that gave him a confidence BOOST , I would not surpised if the 20 Car placed in top 20 this week !

Becauuse Allmendinger was supposed to be full time with Richard Petty.

I'd be watching Truex though, it sounds like they might have an exit strategy from the shipwreck that is Teresa Earnhardt.
