PGPD Homicide Detectives Release Pictures of Persons of Interest in 2019 Murder

One year ago today, 22-year-old Ian Dawley of Suitland, was shot and killed. In our continued effort to make an arrest(s), detectives are releasing pictures of two persons of interest in this case. Detectives want to talk to them and believe they may have information critical to this case.

On December 21, 2019, at approximately 4:10 pm, patrol officers responded to the 5200 block of Marlboro Pike in Capitol Heights for a shooting. The victim was pronounced dead on the scene.

A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.
