New UN Children’s Book Promotes Global Warming Fears to Kids
A new United Nations children’s book promoting fears of catastrophic manmade global warming is being promoted at the UN Climate Change Conference in Kenya. The books main character, a young boy, is featured getting so worried about a coming manmade climate disaster that he yells “I don’t want to hear anymore!” The new children’s book, entitled “Tore and the Town on Thin Ice” is published by the United Nations Environment Programme and blames “rich countries” for creating a climate catastrophe.

And the U.S. continues to be part of the U.N. why?
Because we have "rich kid" syndrome and think nobody will like us if we don't buy the next round.

And a lot of them won't, but that shouldn't be our concern.

The whale responds, “That’s the spirit! Get good and angry. You’ll need all that energy to make a difference.”
:snort:

Of course, energy creates heat, which will exacerbate the melting problem. So it would be better advice for the whale to tell the kid to chill.

No, the poor countries slashing and burning the rain forests have NOTHING to do with it. :duh:

In My Opinion
I suppose if those poor countries were to clean up their act and actually try to keep their citizens instead of shipping them to the U.S, we would burn alot less energy.
the population of the U.S would be shrinking if not for the fence hoppers coming over here to escape their crappy little countries.

maybe we should look into burning the illegals as a from of energy, that way we take care of two problems at once. the use of fossil fuels, and the over supply of illegals. and face it, the illegals are growing at a much faster rate than oil can. and they are easily renewable.
