I just moved to Baltimore for college and was wondering if anyone could suggest to me any good (yet pretty inexpensive) hunter/jumper lesson barns, or if there was a horse for lease or half-lease (on location) in this expertise nearby. I'm attending the Maryland Institute College of Art and hope to join one of the local college horseback riding teams for next semester but would like to brush up on my skills first, I haven't ridden since February due to knee surgery and have just been given my doctor's permission to start riding again. I am unfortunately unfamiliar with the barns in MD, so am having trouble finding a good barn that offers lessons close by.
I would need the barn to be accessible by public transport and walking, as I was not able to bring my car.
