Horse Pasture Walk November 11th

There will be a Horse Pasture Walk on November 11th at 1pm at a horse farm in Centreville, Queen Anne's County (on the Eastern Shore). It is sponsored by NRSC, Queen Anne's Soil Conservation District, and Queen Anne's Extension Office. Topics covered will include: Pasture Renovation Methods, Pasture Management, Manure Management, Weed Control Methods, Choosing the Best Forages for Horses, Nutrient Managment, and Sacrifice Areas. St. Mary's Soil Conservation District had one on September 25th...sorry you missed it. It's only about 2 hours from St. Mary's. Might be worth the trip!
