At 0047 hours Station 3, Station 9, and Truck 7 were dispatched to 47645 Brookstone Way in Hermanville for the report of a house fire, fire in the attic.

I thought most houses had lightning rods or something to that effect to avoid this from happening. Am I wrong? :shrug:

That was on a lot of older homes. If you look around you'll happen to see some old lightning rods still affixed.
