House Fire

Lawrence St., St. Inigoes, dispatched at 2158 for working fire with person trapped. Units on scene 2202 advising occupant removed and ok, being checked by EMS. Crews still mopping up, fire marshall in route. Sounds like a great rescue and quick knock was made.

141 went on scene first with smoke showing, got the pt. out in one or two minutes, great rescue.
Took the fill in at 3 for like 20 min.

Chief 3 asked to let 32 go in service (just to get that red firetruck out of their station I think).

141 was first on scene, it was right outside the back gate. They laid a three inch in, we picked it up, Tanker picked us up. They pulled a line, we pulled another, 141 removed the victim who wasn't far in to the house. She was conscious and alert. 43 and 141 did fire attack and primary. She went back in to look for her dog. Her dog was found alive. The fire caught the back bedroom, hallway and almost got into the attic. Good team work as usual between Co's 4, 14, 3 and 9.
