An African government official serving at the United Nations evaded a potential rape charge in New York City by claiming diplomatic immunity despite the victim reporting the alleged brutal assault to police.

Charles Dickens Imene Oliha, a 46-year-old career diplomat for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation in South Sudan, is accused of making a pass at a woman out walking a friend’s dog in upper Manhattan. When she rejected his advances, he allegedly then proceeded to follow the victim into her building and up to her apartment, forcing them inside and raping the woman twice before fleeing the scene, law enforcement sources told N.Y. Daily News.

The only thing NYers lynch are Republicans, especially Trump supporters, and anyone who dares to claim men aren't women. They love rapists and pedophiles, particularly black ones, especially if they're some ignorant savage from another country. This guy is a trifecta of what Democrats love.

This is - saddening. I'd always been pulling for the independence of South Sudan as they fought a brutal war for independence and a subsequent civil war - and the lines were clear - Northern Sudan was Muslim, and South Sudan was not - and was mostly Christian. Islam is only marginal in their nation. That's not to say that the moniker of "Christian" puts them above this sort of thing. It's just disappointing to me. I wanted them to be better than their horrible neighbors to the north.

Still, it would not be unusual behavior for a Muslim diplomat. I noticed that not one article brought up his religion.
