For the first time in over a hunnert years, (yeah, well except the CoVid thing) the PeeGee County Fair has been canceled!!!

I mean, no more Currier and Ives scenes of cheeky kids riding a hay wagon, drinking lemonade, bobbing for apples, skinny men on stilts wearing Uncle Sam Red White and Blue suits... teenagers stealing a kiss from their beaus????

And in such a DIVERSE INCLUSIVE EQUITY concerned environment of high crime rate, gun totin' thugs, a LACK OF VOLUNTEERS!!!!!!! Why they aint be volunteerin'?

I would say most of this is to blame on Brandon's economy - no volunteers because people don't have the time because of working 2 or 3 jobs just to put food on the table. Increased expenses - especially insurance. But let's not forget the bigger picture - kids these days just don't know how or like to socialize. They would much rather stay at home with their noses buried in their iEverythings rather than actually look at and talk to a real human!

Not surprising. It's hard getting volunteers for anything these days.
The young don't know what volunteer means, and many of them do not know how to work, because they have never worked.
Kids today don't work in the fields any more. Most don't even have chores around the house.
Prince Georges County only has 14% whites and most of them are 65 or older.
63% black and the rest are other races that are not known for volunteering either.

IMO there are many types of bigotry, and some types are no so bad and are well earned by those who the bigotry is aimed at.
Not all bigots ( if you want to call someone a bigot) are wrong.

For instance some are victims of bigotry for being Democrats, but IMO they have earned that so called victimhood.

Sheeeet! As much is spent by the public, and as much those fairs bring in, and they just can't hire people? Thinking it's PG's way of saying "their" people can't be trusted to behave themselves in public. Or, the PG police told the fair people that, "hell no we ain't watching or patrolling all those brothers and sisters. Because,"officer safety".

There are indeed people who are targeted by bigotry and deserve being a target. They earned it.
