the son of a friend of mine has it. we were planning to go to their house for halloween. should we change our plans?
thanks so much for the info! the little one that has it (yes, in his mouth) is almost 1, my daugther is not quite 2. sounds like we don't ned to change our plans.
No kissing. And just keep washing her hands, etc. if she touches stuff ..toys, etc. You get the idea.
you may grin, but for my kid that's going to be difficult she loves babies, and anyone who is not clearly an adult, is a baby.

unless you plan on breastfeeding him, I think you are safe. I've never seen a kid get it from another kid. But I could be wrong.
P.S.
My daughter had it and I got it from b'feeding. Nobody else got it though.
