How do I

cattitude

My Sweetest Boy
keep the cats off the counter/table?? I'm gone most of the day. TIA

:lmao:

If you're not there...good luck. You can use the "spray" bottle when you are there to keep them off. My older cats (and the ones who are no longer with me) never were much on jumping on the counters, etc. The new batch is bad. Not so much with the counters...I've broken that, but they love the dining room table. They know better but are very arrogant.

I've read about putting tin foil on the table, fill cookie sheets with water and set on the counter. I can just see fatazz Booger jumping on the counter into a cookie sheet filled with water. I'd rather have him lay on the counter.

You activated the chip didn't you? :eyebrow:

What's worked for me is getting a roll of plastic carpet runner/protecter-the see thru kind with the little prongs sticking out on the back. Turn this upside down with the prongs facing up and cut to fit where you don't want kitty to go...they don't like the feel of this on their feet and after a try or two usually give up. It's easy to lay down and you just roll it up when you want/need to use your counter or table or whatever.
Good luck!
