When I came home this afternoon another bird was in the kitchen and from the looks of my floors (feathers all over the place) and the bird he didn't die right away. The cat must have been having fun. TIA

I don't want to take away his time outside. The dog and cat actually seem to have a good time playing outside or napping in the sun

If you don't want to keep him inside, block his access to the kitty door so he has to knock to get in. Then you can check to make sure he doesn't bring any presents with him.

A better option is to build him a screened-in porch with a skylight.

I'll guess I'll find out how well he knocks. and if that doesn't work out put screens on the porch.....I really DON'T want any more snakes. Thanks

I read about a kitty door some place that does an xray, if it sees more bones than the cat has , then the door will not open.

AWWWW!!! He loves you!!! :lmao:

My very first cat who was an outdoor cat who adopted me when I was about 8 years old would leave me gifts on my front porch. Mostly moles, mice and baby bunnies. One morning I walked out in my socks and stepped on a "present". I will never forget the feeling, it scarred me for life.

Our current Kitty has a bell on her quick release collar. I can still hear her go after birds and have seen her leave things on the back porch but never has she bought anything in. Counted its about 3 kills a year that I have seen. I think the bell helps a bit.

I love him too. I had a bell on his collar but it drove my husband nuts...so he took it off. The funny thing is when he does get a present he will chase the dog around w/ it in his mouth. Freaks the poor dog out.

Thats funny! :killingme you should post a video of it, your cat is trying to give your dog a present and he doesn't want it! HA!

My Kitty is a bad a$$, she dominates all of the neighbor's cats and dogs including the pitbull. She leads a double life, cuddler by day, street cat by night.
