How do we take our country back?

Have you ever considered the tipping point hasn't been quite reached yet?
I have nothing against obama or Congress, per se, just the UnAmerican, UnConstitutional policies they are initiating. They keep piling those straws on the back of America. Its bound to break at some point.
thats pretty much my point, we are no where close to the tipping point, and to suggest we are is, well

I disagree with you.

Anyway, the answer to the original question, how do we take our country back, is: we don't. It's too late and the system is far too corrupt and intricate. The best we can do is delay the slide.

People want to talk about the revolutionaries in the 1700s, but that was a completely different era. It's ridiculous to think that, in this modern age, a small percentage of the population can fend off the whole US government with a few rifles and handguns. The second you even try to gather your forces, the fed will find out about it and make you go bye bye, and you can be a footnote in history just like Waco and Ruby Ridge.

Sonsie

The mighty Al-Sonsie!
Mr. Tory, if you knew your Revolutionary War history, you would know that only about 3% of the population stood up to resist the British in the beginning of the Revolution, THREE PERCENT!

And if a new Revolution/Civil War is started, it wont be against the US of A or because of the dislike of one person who was elected. It will be against a Federal Government that has strayed far from the principles that our founding fathers set forth to govern this Republic, described as law in our Constitution.

It would be to re-establish the rightful Constitutional Law that has been increasingly kicked to the wayside.
Label me a 3%er! :duel:
The 3% reminded me of this:

Man, that just chaps my azz!

Hard to fight against a taxpayer funded government that has Hummers and weapons.
Exactly. What can we, realistically, do about this? This video guy can shout and try to shame us all he wants, but there's really nothing we individually can do to stop it. There are too many people in this country who have become enslaved by government, and too many who just don't give a damn and will vote for whoever some rap performer tells them to.

Good, then it's not gonna hurt you in the least to vote for candidates, from now on, that actually honor their oath to preserve and defend the constitution and no more lesser of two evil business. :buddies:

Now that that is settled, we'll see about getting Pete to do the same thing. Then, ThisPerson, then Psy. THAT is how we'll fix it.

These people don't run for office because they know it's futile to try and buck the White House AND the Senate AND the House of Representatives.

You like Ron Paul, and I understand that. But if by some miracle he'd have been elected president, he couldn't have implemented one single thing he was in favor of. Not one. So what's the point?

Besides, there are far more people in this country who want Socialism and government nannying than there are people who think the Constitution should be upheld. Majority rules. The end.

You guys let me know when you come up with a plan.

My Plan:

1) First we kill all the lawyers.
2) Let dying companies die.
3) Let lazy people starve.
4) Take the labels off of everything and let the ignorant people stupid themselves to death.
5) Those of us who survive the transitional period can revel about in the resulting Utopia.

Overthrow is an ugly term. Peaceful dissent is about te best we can hope for. Making sure your NON-representing Congressional reps & senators know your feelings is a great way to go. Unfortunately, if you live in Maryland - your reps don't listen or care (they are Liberal Kool-Aid drinkers. I feel the very same way for my kids & yet to be born grandkids.

Remember, Obama has spoken of creating a civilian force as well equipped as the military. Maybe he is hoping for an uprising among us peasants so he can march forward with more of his crazy plans.
And yet Steny still get 80%+ of the vote. America is full of selfish ignorance. Sad really, because it will be the end of our nation.
