A baby squirrel got between my two sliding glass doors in the basement. It wasn't trapped but apparently forgot how it got in so it could take that same exit route.

Kiki noticed this, and started pawing at it through the glass. The baby squirrel started pawing back and the perfect shot would have been when they were nose to nose.

The second the camera was in my hand, the squirrel escaped.

The same thing happened to me in the spring - a rabbit would show up in our backyard to eat the clover & I wanted to get picture to send to my mom. Everytime I went to get the dang camera out - the rabbit would hop off! I got one picture one time - but that was because I left the camera by the slider door!
