Well, you challenge the worlds best to make you a machine to do that. That company is Idra Group in Italy.
And when they produce that machine, you ask them to make another one even more capable.
This machine is most likely the one that will produce the huge aft casting for the Cybertruck. Current gigapress only has 6,000 tons of clamping force and takes a 120lb shot of molten aluminum in less than a second and produces an entire rear subframe for a Model Y every 90 seconds that requires virtually no secondary processing other than trimming the pushouts.
This one has a clamping force of 9,000 tons...... Thats 18,000,000 pounds of force holding the two halves of the die together........ Hence the silly size and beef.
