One of the companies I worked for had a construction yard and shop along the path of the runway lights for Andrews.^Got to see one of those land at Eglin AFB, FL when we were stationed there 82-86. By the time it got to the parking ramp, ground crew had a tent up to hide it. It had likely made a run over Cuba. Was able to see it take off the next morning.
The U-2 has a lot of flex in its' wings.Watched it do touch and gos one afternoon. Was shocking how much those wings flex and twist in flight.
