i hope vrai is right with the 1". But the weather channel says 10 to 20". I just hope we don't lose power where i live or its going to be umm interesting as we are on well here and if the power goes our water goes and so does the heat. Thankgod for a 90lb heating pad (the dog) or i might freeze to death if the power takes a hike.

That snow storm and was UNBELIEVEABLE! I remember our neighbors beagle having to travel in snow tunnels because her short little legs wouldn't let her travel the drifts!

Worst snow storms I recall (living in PG County) were: 1966 (I was 11) and then both times I was 8 months pregnant...February 1978 and February 1983. For the record, I am NOT pregnant.

I think we just might get smacked with this one.

I'm paying attention to Doug Hill because he lives in Calvert.

The 1978 storm in DC?
I cant find history/ snow totals for DC???

Let me go check some books.....

I remember 1979..storm came outta nowhere....

The 1979 Presidents One storm.. it hit during the 3 day weekend!

Offically it was 17.9 inches at National...
Snow drifts were 3-5' in some places...a very dry snow.

We sledded down main street in Annapolis!
What a blast!!!
