How old is too old to trick or treat?

I say who cares - if some guy in his 70s shows up at my house on Halloween in a costume, he's getting a fun size Snickers. I was never one of those, "Aren't you a little too old to be trick or treating? :eyebrow: " moms.

What annoys me are the mothers who bring their toddlers around and also expect candy. In general they look too young to have had a kid anyway (and, since I know many of them they should have practiced birth control).

We had one of them a few years ago who was really stupid. We went through the summer having our plants in the front yard dug out at night. Well in comes this early 20s girl and her brood telling her companion about how she's always coming to our house to steal plants.

I thought the treat giving witch was going to fly out of her chair.

I had my kids quit around 6th grade. I’m definitely of the opinion that trick or treat is for little kids. If they want to go do something when older, they should go to a party.

I also think it should end around 8:30 or 9. Not having teenagers not even wearing costumes ring my bell at 11 asking if I have any “left over “.

Too old? Maturity? Yeah.....

When alleged adults identify as felines and need a cat box, are they trick or treating?
When a 6 foot 2" "penis possessor" wants to be a volleyball player on a girls high school team, is he/they trick or treating?
Walk into any Panera or Starbux...., are they/them trick or treaters?
Those MEN that stick McDonalds ketchup packets up their butts to simulate the "red tide", are they trick or treaters?

Kamala pretending to be a real Presidential candidate??????

Whatever.

What annoys me are the parents who are driving their precious rotunds around the neighborhood in a golf cart.

Let those chubs walk or run from house to house. Save them the coronary artery disease of the future!

My hometown would set hours and say "please trick or treat during these hours(usually 6-8)" there was no porch light, everyone participated, every single house I went to had candy, although it got cold many would sit outside so they could see the parade of kids. I was confused about the whole porch light on/off thing when I moved here. The old kids that don't wear costumes piss me off, they get raisins.

If I may ...
For your consideration ...

Never too old, to a degree, for Trick or Treating. Especially if it a good looking woman dressed as a Bad Kitty, or Bat Girl, even a Wonder Woman. Tricks, or Treats, would make for an interesting Halloween. Come on guys, wouldn't you give her some candy if'in she came and knock'd upon your door?

I'd rather older kids be going around asking for treats than out causing tricks and other mischief.

Halloween is in second place behind Christmas as my most hated event/holiday.

It used to be just the Christmas Elf From Hell that started right after Thanksgiving. Now I have to put up with the Halloween Gremlin From Hell starting a couple weeks after Labor Day.

Anyone that takes the time to pull together a costume and get outside is getting candy. I think trick or treating should be fun for all ages.
