"Whether she's on Capitol Hill or on the cover of Vogue, First Lady Michelle Obama's sleeveless styles have been making headlines, and her lean arms are inspiring women to reach for their dumbbells.
Kacy Duke, a personal trainer to the stars with Equinox, says she has many clients asking for "Michelle Obama arms."
"What they love about her is that her arms are very sinewy. They are muscular but they're very sinewy and very defined," says Duke. "They are not like a bodybuilder's arm. She has beautiful lines in her arm and every woman can have beautiful lines."
While not every woman builds muscle the same way, Duke says anyone can achieve lean arms by combing cardio with lightweight strength training three to four times a week.
"To have beautiful arms, you want to work your biceps, your triceps your front middle and rear deltoids - which is basically the shoulders, the front and the back - to get that nice point here," says Duke. "
