How was everyone's first day of school?

I don't have any kiddos of my own yet, but I got a good chuckle out of seeing parents videotaping their little ones getting onto the school buses yesterday. I haven't heard too much chit chat about it at work today, so I thought I'd ask. How did the first day of school go for everyone? Any surprises? Did the buses find and drop off kids on time?

My oldest's first day at school went very well. She told us all about the sign language she learned.

My son made out pretty well. Although he said he didn't want to go back. One day was enough!
I did get a call from the school though about the check I sent in for school lunches. My checks say, Ms. P but I guess the school stills has me as Ms. B. They didn't know which child belonged to me, so they could put the money on his/her account.

Porkchop.....he only got put there once (it was his second warning)....I'm kinda nervous to find out what happened today...thank god she's going to be sending home behavioral charts every day.

I keep telling myself....he's not really a bad kid...he's just very very head strong and already stuck in his own ways. One day his headstrong ways will make him a successfull business man.....

My kid in the big K did not recieve time out And the 8th grader was pretty happy when she got home too
