Howard cancelled grad ceremony

The school also screwed up, my graduation was in a 15,000 seat arena and each student could only get three tickets at first.

Way to represent, Howard relatives.

It's so freaking annoying when the ghetto people do this. Here's these kids graduating college, going to be working in a medical profession.....and the ferals have to ruin it.

And then there's this:

This mother's day weekend Howard University shutdown graduation and blamed the families instead of taking accountability for poor planning. What did you expect when you have the largest graduating class and no headcount limit per graduate.

Um, I expect people to behave with respect regardless of their disappointment. ESPECIALLY at their loved one's college graduation ceremony. I mean, this woman has a point but that doesn't excuse the people who disrupted the ceremony with their bullshit.

I suspect it's less about disappointment, and much more about the imagined embarrassment of being dis'd. "How DARE they tell me I can't attend!?!?! "

And that seems to be a recurring theme. Shot over a spilled drink. etc...

The venue was wrong. They should have picked a street corner in Baltimore, preferably near a CVS for easy graduation gift shopping.

I have to believe that the vast majority of these graduates' families are proud as punch of them and solid enough citizens that they sent their kid to nursing/med school. It's a shame that the ferals had to ruin that for them.

Is't there a CVS on Florida Avenue?

Plus theres a Trader Joes. That sounds "White supremacist" :jet:

Even our local high schools have a capped number of guests per graduate.
Sure do. I've never yet attended a HS or college graduation that didn't have a really low cap on the number of guests each student could provide tickets to.

My HS graduation was supposed to be on the football field with guest in the bleachers. Lots and lots of room. Limited to 6 guests, unless it rained and we had to hold graduation in the gym, and then it was 2 guests. It rained. We dealt with it. This was back in '72, so nothing new here.

It's funny Donald Trump had 100,000 people attend his rally in Wildwood New Jersey and no one broke the windows or shouted let us in.
No ambulance had to be called.
Just a different class of people I suppose.

'72. The Civil War had been over for only a few years. Must have been interesting times.
