Members of Maryland’s congressional delegation gathered virtually Tuesday for their first official meeting with the newly appointed regional administrator for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Region III, Adam Ortiz. Congressman Steny H. Hoyer (MD-05), Senators Ben Cardin (D-MD) and Chris Van Hollen (D-MD), and John Sarbanes (MD-03), Kweisi Mfume (MD-07), Jamie Raskin (MD-08), and David Trone (MD-06) met with Ortiz to discuss Chesapeake Bay Program oversight, implementation of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act, environmental justice, and other regional environmental issues.
